Tiffin Carrier is inspired by the Malaysian traditional lunch box that is still used to this day. Food is a big part of Malaysian culture, so I chose to pay homage to my background through the lens of the tiffin carrier.
The body of it is inspired by architecture in Penang, Malaysia, known for its heritage shop houses. Wooden windows are scattered across the body and the model sits on a platform that has the pattern of traditional Peranakan tiles. The model has a childish water-coloured style, reflecting how it was a part of my early life.
